Sales Policies

Accent Hair adheres to a very strict policy of complete customer confidentiality. Your privacy is honored above all. Any personal information given to us is used only to process your order. Accent Hair does not and will not share or sell any information regarding our customers.

We want you to have a pleasant experience shopping at Accent Hair. Our customer service department is willing to work with you by email or phone to make sure that your order is satisfactory before the sale. Due to State and Federal Department of Health Regulations regarding the sale of wigs and hairpieces, no refunds are accepted; however, an exchange will be allowed under certain conditions. Please see our exchange policy.

  • Purchases may be made by check, money order or credit card. Your credit card charge will appear as “Belk and Associates” on your statement. Please write your check to “Belk and Associates”. Purchases made by check will be shipped after your check is cleared by our bank. Any check or credit card sale that fails to clear our bank will result in a $25 administration fee. Order cancellations will incur administrative fees and requests for cancellation must be received via email within 24 hours of order placement.

  • Several shipping options are available to you. Your street address is required for delivery. Shipping rates vary depending on weight and delivery address. For delivery outside the continental United States, please email Belk Wigs for a rate quote.

  • South Carolina customers will be charged sales tax, which is currently 6%.

  • Please note all merchandise shown in our catalog is professionally styled. Merchandise is delivered unstyled; however, professional styling is available for an additional charge. Please email customer service for more information on professional styling.

  • Due to possible price fluctuations from the manufacturer, our prices may change without notice. We hope that this does not occur, and will make every effort to keep our prices as low as possible!

Exchange Policies

As stated above, due to State and Federal Health Department of Health Regulations regarding the sale of wigs and hairpieces, no refunds are accepted; however, one exchange is allowed under certain conditions. Exchanges are costly to you, as well as to Accent Hair, so please, ask as many questions as you feel necessary before you purchase your hair replacement product to avoid any additional fees. Your satisfaction is our primary concern!

  • Special orders or styled merchandise are not returnable or able to be exchanged..

  • Unworn, unaltered merchandise may be exchanged for equal or greater value. If your replacement merchandise is more expensive, you will be charged the difference in price. Shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

  • Exchange requests must be made within 3 days of receiving your merchandise, as verified by the delivery date from the freight carrier. A Return Merchandise Authorization Number (RMAN) must be obtained from Accent Hair. No exchange requests will be honored without a RMAN. Please contact customer service via e-mail at accenthair@alltel.net with this request. Only written requests will be honored, sent via email or faxed to 803-356-3644, and must contain the following information:

Customer Name, Address and Phone Number

Original Invoice Number

Brand name, style and color of returned item

Brand name, style and color of replacement item.

(Please include a copy of your email notice/invoice from Accent Hair.)

  • Merchandise returned for exchange must be in “new” condition, in the original packaging with all tags and net still attached. The merchandise cannot be worn, combed, brushed, styled or altered in any way. There are restocking fees on returned merchandise which vary from manufacturer to manufactuer, except for returned merchandise due to product defect. Authorized returns are shipped via prepaid freight and must be received within 3 days of authorization for return. The returned merchandise must clearly have the RMAN written on the outside of the box or the return will be refused and returned to you. Collect shipments will not be accepted by Accent Hair.

  • Defective merchandise will be exchanged with the same brand, style and color as the original order at no cost to you after a RMAN is obtained.
